Below is a picture of some wires that I removed from the outside wall of the converted garage. They were covered in duct tape (not electrical tape, as they should have been).

Praise God for His watchcare and protection over us.

Yes, that is scorching and corrosion, both. The wire nut was missing when I pulled it out.
