This past weekend was my Ten Year High School Reunion! Of course, we jumped at the chance to go out and enjoy a night out without kids not to mention meeting “old” friends. We went to my high school’s football game. I think they won but I’m not too sure. I spent most of the time visiting and talking and catching up. Since we don’t live where I went to high school (or where Mark went) then I hadn’t seen or heard from most of the people for about 6 or 7 years (since I graduated from college).
Saturday was the reunion. I got to see a lot of old friends including my best friend from high school and the maid of honor at my wedding, Marla. It really was a nice chance for us to talk. After the reunion, Mark, Marla, and I headed to Starbucks and visited with another great friend, Chrissy who was unable to make it to the reunion. Then at about 1 (Georgia time) we headed to Mark’s parents house and slept for a few minutes before the chaos insued and we went to church, packed up, drove home, and went to church again. It was a busy but good weekend. And, we get to do it again next year for Mark’s 10 Year Reunion! Here are a lot of pictures for all my high school friends who are checking the website.

Ryan and his wife, LaDonna, and Imogen (their two month old daughter) Ryan and I were youth interns at our church the summer after our senior year. Ryan also sang at our wedding!

This is me with my best friend, Marla. Brag moment: Marla is a pediatric doctor currently completing a fellowship in hemoc (I’m not sure if I spelled that right)…hematology oncology…at a children’s hospital in Texas…how cool is that?!

Neal and Stacy
Stacy was one of Mark’s good friends growing up.

Cindy
Cindy was a good friend. She also ran track for my dad. And helped us cut up in his History class!

This is Cindy’s husband! He’s a little goofy but oh so sweet.

Jeff, with his wife, Jamie
They were absolutely adorable and have some of the cutest kids (next to mine, of course).

Andra and Justin
Andra was a color guard with me. Justin was a good friend through high school.

Airon
Airon played football for my dad and he was part of our “group” that always hung out together. None of us ever had dates on the weekends. So, we’d all go to the movies, or just talk on the front porches of our houses. Or rent really stupid movies!

Our “after-reunion” visit with Chrissy and Marla and Chrissy’s husband and Mark (got to include the guys).
