Dr. Dobson’s Right!!!

This month on our menu, we had Manicotti (twice). The firs time we had it, Ace decided that he didn’t like it and didn’t want to try it, etc. He was pretty adament about it, too.

So, we took Dr. Dobson’s advice, wrapped it up and stuck in the fridge for breakfast the next day. The next morning, I heated up his manicotti and Zoe, Liam and I had our cereal for breakfast. I was prepared for screaming and yelling from Ace. No screaming or yelling, just the occasional comment that he wanted Cheerios. After about 5 minutes, he ate every single bite of the manicotti and never said a word.

Well, tonight was our last night of manicotti for a few months. We were prepared for anything. Ace not only ate the manicotti without complaining but he ate one and half pieces of manicotti (and that’s a lot)! Wow! Gotta love 2 year old power struggles!!!

Of course, it helps that he was pitching a fit through both snack times and only ate minimal lunch…he was pretty hungry 🙂
